Susan Wright, Ph D. is the Founder and Director of Creative Life Change Institute based in Marin County, CA..

She received her education at Cornell, Adelphia and Columbia Pacific Universities and has received advanced training in Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP), EMDR Narrative Therapy, Voice Dialogue and Rapid Response Therapy - an offshoot of Thought Field Therapy, Cognitive and short-term techniques and others.

She is an author; talk show host, columnist and is a well-known speaker and trainer throughout the US and overseas.

Dr. Wright has appeared on television demonstrating the 5-minute phobia cure found in her books. Her guided imagery tape and book Preparation for Surgery was used in Ohio hospitals.
Her bestselling series of books: Be Your Own Therapist, Be Your Own Pet Therapist; and BeYour Own Matchmaker have been best sellers. Be Your Own Therapist is currently being published in nine languages. The second edition of Be Your Own Pet Therapist will be available soon.

Aside from her professional counseling and writing career, Dr Wright was a performer, living and traveling in Europe and the United States.
